Challenge:
After a similar truck with very similar name opened up in the area, Santa Cruz locals were confused of which truck was the original Tacos El Chuy Truck that cooked up their favorite quesabirria dishes. Since, Tacos El Chuy Truck was under a new ownership and were stripped away from their previous social media profiles and needed to rebuild their presence as the original brand.

Since we had the opportunity to build a fresh, new account for the owner, we developed original content that made them stand out in the Santa Cruz Community. Our first step was to bring in a large group of previous customers and encourage them to follow our new socials to stay in the know. So, we created an advertising budget to advertise a student promo to local university students at UCSC.
After having run the page for a week and advertising the promo for two days, we had a 97.3k% increase in paid reach for Facebook, 226% increase in paid reach for Instagram, and gained over 250 followers. After managing their social media and creating content for Tacos El Chuy Truck for 3 months, local businesses and event promoters have messaged on Instagram to hire for small and large events.
